I noticed the RV had a water leak before I left Bluewater, so I called and made an appointment for Wednesday 9/9 and went off to Chaco. But I missed a turn (and my GPS did not tell me) and ended up back on asphalt, so I gave up and headed back for Albuquerque so as to not miss the appointment. Nearby was a casino and hotel so I decided to treaty myself for a night. This worked out well - I made enough at blackjack to cover the room cost. And the appointment went well - someone had left a drain plug out for the freshwater tank. The service guy did not charge me for that. The fuel used the day before gave me 21.10 mpg due to mostly slow driving. Factory estimate is 18 highway.

I then headed to Shiprock and then the Aztec Ruins site in the nearby town of Aztec. The Ruins were only 1/3 of a mile from the RV park so I was able to walk there. What a fantastic place. Humbling as well. Some of the architecture is the same as at Chaco, the guide told me.
